Depending on the size bow you intend to make (and depending on what you will attach your bow onto), cut an adequate length of tie wire, at least 8". Fold the wire in half loosely and evenly, as pictured. IF YOU CUT TOO SMALL A LENGTH, WHEN YOU FOLD THE TIE WIRE IN HALF, YOU MAY FIND IT DIFFICULT TO TIE OFF YOUR BOW.
